Jacques Jomier
Jacques Jomier (1914-2008) was a distinguished French Dominican priest, scholar, and expert on Islamic studies. Profoundly dedicated to fostering interfaith dialogue and understanding, Jomier spent much of his career studying and teaching about Islam, with a particular emphasis on the Quran and Muslim-Christian relations. He entered the Dominican Order in 1932 and was ordained as a priest in 1940.
